Audience dumbfounded!...what am i upto

i was supposed to be talking about Decimation in time algorithm(a FFT technique).it all started well..(sorry for d blunt way of starting my blog)i mean i was talking sense but somewhere it all went wrong.i took up the time of the next person also only to walk down and hear from my friends that i was not making sense.except for ragavan whose reaction went like this:
raga:(extends hands)good speech macha
me:thnx da...did u understand??
raga: not even a word da...
me: ????
that was when i swore to myself the next talk wont be like this..(meanwhile the next talk is not so far its on friday next week)
let's see how this boy performs
