sad again!
recently i attended the scholarship test conducted by TIME for GRE...i was listening to the guy talking there about the criteria for getting into univs in the US...he told that a GPA of 9.8 is required to get into MIT...i remembered the day during 1st sem...gowrisankar asks every1 to go in front of the class and tell what their aims were...i walked upfront and told them that i want to do an MS in CS from MIT...
but then coming back to reality..my cgpa is 8.95 and i havn't done much to get into any univs in the US...but somehow i hav a faint ray of hope that i'll make into some univ in the US...let's do soe karma... \m/
Dr.pujeri
i told my friends how Pujeri inspired me to be a good student.that was in 1st year.he has left college to become the principal of KGISL .in 1st year i was kind of a cool student.i didnt really care much for marks(cgpa of 8.7 in 1st sem...low for PSG standards).what he did was that he told in the class that i was the worst student he has seen in PSG tech.that really made me to work hard and inprove myself.
and now, since my academics has gone to the dogs again, anish says this:
anish: i think i hav to act like Pujeri..you are the worst guy i've seen in PSG tech...
me: if my girl friend says that i'll probably start working..if u say it i'll probably become more lazy...
anish: !!!!!
java project
we are doing "static face recognition" as a java project.we are using the paper "Eigenfaces for face recognition" by Turk & Pentland as the main source.we have tried to implement eigenface in java and it has come out successfuly.
Our project guide Mr.Ramesh says it is possible(not guaranteed) to publish a paper if we work for 1-2 years.im kinda underperforming in academics now-a-days so im worried im not at my best to work with my team-mates,who are doing good.

im reading the hindu newspaper...there i read an article that explains in detail the symptoms and causes of manic depression, is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a category of mood disorders defined by the presence of one or more episodes of abnormally elevated mood clinically referred to as mania or, if milder, hypomania. Individuals who experience manic episodes also commonly experience depressive episodes or symptoms, or mixed episodes in which features of both mania and depression are present at the same time.

my mom reads to me a biographical stub from varamalar(Pg.28),a supplement to the vernacular newspaper, dinamalar.
the stub was about Steven Thomas, considered a security visionary for founding anti-spyware company Webroot, was found dead Sunday in Hawaii, some two weeks after he was reported missing.
The decomposing body of Thomas, who family members said began recently suffering from bipolar disorder and delusions that he was being tracked by aliens and the government, was discovered near the base of a 985-foot Oahu cliff, according to newspaper reports.
now,the link between the events...
is bipolar disorder..it keeps popping up in front of me..dont know why..lets see how many more events show up
